Hey guys!
I bought an Behringer Ultrabass BX1200 about 3 years ago to play some gigs with.
So one day I am in my room playing when my dad walks in and steps straight onto the lead snapping the lead inside of the input (a similar thing happened to the other input).
By this time the old band had broken up so me, being an expert procrastinator, thought I would fix it later and just went to practicing on a smaller amp I have.
Fast forward a year and I am in a new band and we have a gig coming up, I dust off the old amp and plug it in and all I hear is a deep buzzing/humming sound. I don't have any leads plugged in but when I do hook my bass up you still can't hear anything but the buzzing.
I'm going to assume it is the input but how do I get in there? Should I be taking it to a shop? I am not very technically savvy so I have avoided opening it up as I don't want to make it worse but at this stage it is useless to me so I might as well give it a try.
