Thank you for raising awareness of this amp.

It makes me wonder what else might be out there beyond the big name rig makers.

The Wall breaker sure is a handsome piece of work.

Do you know how much it weighs? Does it use KT-88's? Are there any big music stars in Argentina, or South America who are know to use amps made by Vintage Electric?

BTW. What is the household AC in Argentina? 230VAC?

220v 50hz in Argentina.

The valves are 6L6GC, but you can ask them to use EL34 or 6550 or any sort of valve i think...

A lot of bands of my country are using this equipment, and a lot of "under bands" or amateurs too because they're cheap and 100% valve, handmade and customizable.

Other brand that has some products like Vintage Electric are Cream amplifiers (in fact, Vintage and Cream were united some years ago...).

Hmm... 59.4 lbs.! When I first eyed the Wall Breaker's trannies I expected that this head would weigh ~ 90 lbs.

Only TWO pre-amp tubes?!

The bass sound on this clip exhibits a bulky SVT-like girth.

Issues: will the WB run on North American voltages, and is it certified for operation up here.

For fans of an affordable, near-knob-less old school tube rig, the Vintage Electric Wall Breaker is looking pretty good!

* Gosh! Folks down south like to live dangerously, eh?!

**Being able to choose power tube types based upon one's tonal preferences and/or available supply is good! This flexibility would bring an element of 'boutique' to an affordable tube rig.

I like Catupecu Machu's sound. 'Just straight-up melodic rock. No glitz, no bombast, and no pouting (that pi$$ shiver-inducing 'rock star' lip-lock).

Just good ol' plug in and play rock 'n' roll.

Their studio cut was fine (great bass tone), but I prefer a warts & all live recital when it comes to guitar bands.

I miss my Precision...

Don't know if this was covered yet, but the Traynor YBA200 WILL push 2 ohms (though the factory says it only puts out 180 watts then), and weights 45 lbs. Pretty sweet head! Also, its physically much smaller than and SVT, and CERTAINLY a V4b!

I found some information that the pre is based on the Alembic F2 B with an extra tube...

how will it sound???

i'm trying the head on a rehearshall studio next monday with my band...
