...the most popular jazz album of all time. "Kind Of Blue" by Miles Davis w John Coltrane and Cannonball Adderly on saxes and Bill Evans on piano on key tracks.

This album really should be in every collection. It's that good.

Zep II is how I learned to play bass .. spent a year learning it note for note and wore out 2 copies doing so. Kind of showed me how to do everything at once, and the ear training of figuring out the Lemon Song was priceless.

The guitar tone on Zepplin 1 & 2 is classic. Also as is the tone on on Cream's "Sunshine of your Love"

Even Clapton and Page don't play with that tone any more.

Aww man ... I hate to admit it, but I had cassette tapes .. I just missed LP's and CD players were like $800 bucks. I did splurge on a Sony Walkman though.
