Watched it last night. Lee Sklar of course is confirmed into the Pantheon. Two things really struck me:
He is asked and kind of quickly agrees somewhat and moves on that his iconic beard stemmed from insecurity and was something he has hidden behind. Jokes that he has not seen his upper lip for like 50 years.
States that for all of the thousands of times he has performed a song on stage, he remembers that someone out in the crowd is hearing that song for the very first time. And he is playing that song for that person.
Film is a must see of course. Linda Rondstadt is still stunningly beautiful. Waddy Wachtel's story about on the road and on a whim the band, while bored in Wheeling West Virgina, decides to go to a strip club. Linda doesn't have her ID. No entrance. Sings a passage of Blue Bayou and is let in.
