left handed bass players.

I've also created a way similar to the way haslip slapped. My requires more wrist work though. It took a while To get it down. It was pretty tiring. My friend always asks me how I do it and came up with it and I just tell him. "I have no idea". But Most of my work on bass is light fluid finger work anyway but I love me some slap:D

LOL yeah I know. you pick up your bass, the guitarest goes dude, your holding it wrong. oh yeah guitar player? listen to this. *incerts pops and slaps*

Every-time. Even my drums are flipped lefty and they get so fed up with it when they want to play drums haha! Greatest thing I've ever seen. First time I played bass with a band I walk in and the guitar guy says. "Um dude why are you holding it upside down" I said " well I'll show you. We jammed for 20 minutes straight and we never spoke about it again haha.

that reminds me of the time I was playing bass on video for a few people cause they thought it was incredible that I am blind and was playing upside down. LOL the one guy called me jimmy hendricks LOL.

they don't even comment on it now, the one guy only still to this day says im a badass for some reason LOL.

Giving this thread a nice nudge along. ANY LEFTY PLAYERS OUT THERE BESIDES JUST ME? I know I'm a minority as less than 30% of the world is lefty but we need to get a shout out once in a while too!

The only lefty bass player that I ever heard of that played with a right handed strung bass was Keith Ferguson of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Played an old early 50s right handed Fender P bass with the single coil pickup.

Sorry I know this is late lol. Actually Keith Ferguson re-strung his early 50s P Bass lefthanded. I actually think its great he did that, I play lefty basses but there are some righthanded ones I wouldn't mind "converting" for lefty playing.
