For sale Left handed bass tuners

Those look like Gotohs. I think they are the only ones making these reverse tuners, and in lefty, as well. I have several sets, and quite a few basses with these lefty reverse tuners on them. The worm and ring gears are actually better than the Kluson originals that Fender used. They have a better gear ratio. I love them. Great price.. if I didn't have some spares, I'd grab these. Wow- sorry, all mine are chrome/ nickel.. not sure, I just bought a few surplus sets a couple of years ago. To me, these really are much better than the riginal Kluson ones. P.S., a little trivia. The original reverse wind Fender tuners, made by Kluson, are the exact same tuning machine except for the string post- which is much longer.. that you'll find on Kay upright basses! They were mounted two on a plate. Gibson- yes, they made uprights, also used single plate Klusons. I'll bet Leo called Kluson and told him to make him machines with a shorter shaft length, and on a single plate for each tuner. Leo also measured upright bass necks, and the nut widths of most Fender basses, correspond with uprights.
