Hi all. I'm a newbie here so don't know the exact etiquette. Here's a photo of my P bass. Got it in 1986 (as a swap plus cash to me for my left handed '72 Fender Jazz bass. A roadie had left it in his car on a very hot day and the neck warped). I only recently found out that it is a Schecter body (while I was doing a refurb). It has a bird's eye maple Warmoth neck and Bill Lawrence EB60 pick ups, Schaller heads and also recently changed the bridge from a Leo Quan Badass bass II bridge to a Babicz FCH. The scratch plate also has a Schecter sticker on the back. Can anyone tell me what type of wood it might be or approximate year?
The bass was used when I got it, but the sound was fantastic and I had to have it. It also weighs a ton. I've posted the URL for the pictures, so hope they come up.
