Hey all, half (more like 3/4) of the reason I bought a bass guitar is the music of motorhead. While i'm incredibly new to guitars as a whole, I want to start learning to play in a style similar to Lemmy. I still plan on learning the basics with a teacher (every other week) but when I am able to join a band I want to be able to play like he did. Are there any good resources to help self teach the techniques he used?

Learn how to play with a pick, get a bass with a pickup near the bridge and play with distortion.

I havent given up. Im just not the best at checking this site.
I got in with a new teacher too and i'm feeling optimistic about things.

you bet i am! just kinda messing around tonight. playing around with hand positioning right now and working on pressing down right on the frets. no more string rattle!
