Double Bass Lesson pay rates

That's a little condescending to say that because somebody doesn't have a degree they aren't qualified to teach. I think you shouldn't charge for the time. I think rather, you should charge for the quality of the information you teach. In the end, we are all teachers of second hand information if you really want to boil it to the core. There's really no substitute for full fledged experience. However, technique is something that is taught, then drilled. Once you know it, I believe you are qualified to help another player.
