Lessons got more fun .

So far my lessons and practice has been geared to learning to read music. Still have more to learn(alot). But today the teacher was playing drums and had me playing along with the beat and having me mix it up by having me put rests on different beats and doing 8ths and quarters. First time I ever played with a drummer. Really kinda fun!
Also started 1st "real" song. Another Brick in The Wall part 1 and 2. So got some fun stuff to practice this week.

Very happy for you that you are enjoying your lessons. I’m also having lessons for bass guitar and piano and loving each one. I get most of my music theory from piano lessons. My focus with bass guitar is more towards Andean music (cuecas, huaynos, tinkus). Piano lessons are face-to-face and bass lessons are online. In which form do you take your lessons? Hope you continue to enjoy bass guitar and your lessons
