This is the video for 'Not Myself' by my band Sons Of Icarus, from our debut EP. Filmed on a budget of £200 (ish!). We've just finished touring with Clutch on the UK leg of their tour and played shows with Black Stone Cherry, The Answer, Rival Sons and Orange Goblin so if you're a fan of any of those you might enjoy

Thanks! Gutted those guys have fallen off the face of the planet (it seems) Our debut album was written with them as a massive influence, but this song was years before we'd even heard of them

My band, Heavy Breath (ffo: 108, Converge, Every Time I Die, etc), just released a split EP with our sister band Dagwood (ffo: Osker, power pop) (our rhythm guitarist sings and plays guitar in Dagwood and our singer drums and does backup vocals).

It's kind of an absurdist inside joke. There's an original song by each band on the record and we even went as far as to cover one another on side B. I guess if you don't really know us personally (or the original songs) the joke isn't really as funny but we had a lot of fun recording this and I believe it comes through in the final product.

I started writing kids songs recently and decided on videos and a YouTube channel. The keyboardist and animator both flaked, so who needs em. Check out the vids rather than the song and you might not get bored as fast . Assuming you already know your ABCs and phonetics that is ;-)
