Double Bass Let's Do The Time Warp

Hello,
Sorry if I can't be more specific, but one of us posted a link to a company that built small digital power amplifiers, I believe it was located in Japan or that's where they were manufactured. Anyone remember what that was. I'm pretty sure that the same individual used an Avalon U5 for their preamp. Any help would be appreciated.

This wasn't exactly the unit I remembered, but holy cow, that's a spicy meatball. 1000 watts in a 6 pound package. I probably don't need that much power, but on the other hand, I could always turn it down.

That's the one. Thanks. Do you have one? Will it run on a line level pre amp? I'll read the specs on the web site to try and discerne that.
