Let's Hear your G string !

Apropos to the observations and concerns that bass players have about dead notes on their g string, I was going to take my Fender styled four to a side 2015 USA G&L LB 100 in alder and rosewood and plug in to my TC Wiretap pedal to record electrically and directly to the Wiretap app that anyone can download to their phone. Instead I had the idea of using the little on board mic in the phone (iphone 6) to record the g string of this bass acoustically. The bass is strung with GHS precision flats and for the sake of crisp attack I'm used a Dunlop X-H pick with no vibrato as vibrato oscillations can give the illusion of a louder note. So here's mine. Let's hear yours. All you'll need is a phone and the free Wiretap app to do it acoustically. On mine I hear no dead notes. Don't have dead notes on my G&L Jazz either.
