Wow I just receive my new sterling and let me tell you, I have been fortunate enough to play and own some very good high end basses, I love my Sadowsky's don't get me wrong , but this little thing rock the house.......

Sometimes I wonder do I really need $3k plus basses when there are some good options way way cheaper with superb quality and killer tone......... Man I don't know but here it is.

Same. I don't know the weight on mine, but the one I just sold to Simon (that black HS in the first post) was 9.6 lbs. I think mine is the about same, give or take a couple ounces. I've heard some people have Sterlings that are 8 lbs ___ oz. I've never encountered one.
