Did a outdoor show last weekend and got to play with blues legend Mr. Joey Gilmore! The weather was perfect! I used my Fender '62 RI Jazz Fretless (CIJ). Just had put on a fresh set of D'Addario XL170s Round Wounds and the bass sounded awesome!! So here are the pics!

(Note the TalkBass.com t-shirt I had on!!)

Playing outside of the Hard Rock in Niagara Falls, NY. The Alison Pipitone Band, with Mary Ramsey (10,000 Maniacs, John & Mary and the Valkyries among others) sitting in. Nice big Stageline 260 w/ EAW line array and Microwedge monitors.

and the main stage at The Great Blue Heron Music Festival July 2009. It rained for days prior - sun came out during our set. Magic.

We've been lucky to play a good number of outdoor gigs the past couple of years, and a good number this year - but this one was hard to top...

Headlining the side stage at Vergefest in Milwaukee, WI - preceding Weezer. In the pouring rain (for all intents and purpose the show shouldn't have went on due to risk of electric shock :D). But for the people that braved the rain to watch us - we put on an awesomely intimate rain-filled festival show. :bassist:
