Did a outdoor show last weekend and got to play with blues legend Mr. Joey Gilmore! The weather was perfect! I used my Fender '62 RI Jazz Fretless (CIJ). Just had put on a fresh set of D'Addario XL170s Round Wounds and the bass sounded awesome!! So here are the pics!

I live in Toronto, so there is no friggin' way I am playing outside these days in the snow! This is from the last outdoor gig I did. A benefit show last fall....

The mohawk was done for charity too.

We've been lucky to play a good number of outdoor gigs the past couple of years, and a good number this year - but this one was hard to top...

Headlining the side stage at Vergefest in Milwaukee, WI - preceding Weezer. In the pouring rain (for all intents and purpose the show shouldn't have went on due to risk of electric shock ). But for the people that braved the rain to watch us - we put on an awesomely intimate rain-filled festival show.

Its a Killer Simmony, Japanese company who specialize in strange 'metal' style guitars! Its pretty much just a Jazz bass with a reversed Ric body shape.

Fun gig! LOVE playing there- LOVELY gardens & real appreciative crowd that LOVE seeing us there- in a nice smoke free, good sound environment
