While they're not radio friendly,Lightning Bolt are world famous....having played the likes of All Tomorrow's Parties and many other festivals. They've collaborated with the likes of Bjork, The Flaming Lips and the Boredoms. Without knowing your circumstances, I'm guessing they've been better compensated for their shows than you have.
