I love German Warwicks. I got me a Bass that is so blacked out that even the Nut is Ebony.

I’ve been eyeing these for a while now
2011?

How do you like it?
2011?
2012?
2013?
I have the 2011 model year and love it.
The black-with-chrome-trim look is nice, but common. I think it would look fantastic if you were to put all black hardware on it. And you could put any strings you want on it that are not the typical steel or nickle color and it would look great, whereas it might look a little incongruous as is. That said, if it were mine, I probably wouldn't swap anything out. Buying black tuners & knobs & specialty bridge would be expensive, and probably more than I'd want to pay for a pure cosmetic change. So what do you think?......get some black hardware and completely black it out?

I would not change it up, I think the chrome balances out nicely with the stripes. A set of Black Beauties wounld't hurt though! So what do you think?......get some black hardware and completely black it out?

That's a pa pa perty bassWell, since everyone is coming clean with the Warwick offspring, does black oil finish qualify for this thread? I lucked out with this last month. Arguably the best bass I own. With the DR Pure Blues it sounds and plays beautifully.

I got one coming for Ya'll real soon.....That's a pa pa perty bass![]()

To me, a rosewood fretboard on a black bass is like wearing brown shoes with black pants. It’s just not done. But you guys do you. Variety is wonderful, and besides, who cares what I think?
