Wish I'd have the skills ;). This is a M Basses M4j that is being built for me by a great guy, Jon Maghini. Seriously, this guy's always there for every tiny reason or detail you wish to go thru during any stage of the building process, even when you haven't committed to build anything, he's always there to answer your questions.

The basses are gorgeous. He started off by building wonderful basses with exotic woods and all that (he still does), and then he started building classic p and jazz basses. So, I've always wanted a green bass and one day I spotted a similar bass to mine on his website, then I decided that I had to have a custom build from him. He sticks to old school building techniques and I'm almost sure he does everything by hand.

This beauty will have hum cancelling norsdtrands, hipshot hardware, a clear pickguard and a black pearloid extra pickguard that suits this green really well, an obp-2 aguilar pre. It will also have a custom inlay on the 12th fretboard as you can see in the pics of an early stage of the process, and luminlay side dots.

Can't wait to see her finished and have her in my hands! :hyper:
