I'm sorry to ask this kind of question. But I really struggle between these two.
My purpose is record my bass at home, then mix it with my 500-miles-away friend's keyboard and one-pacific-ocean-away drums. I only need to record bass part, but need to listen to their music when play, so I need as few latency as possible.
I have a Sansamp BDDI. So I'm thinking about record thru it. Phantom power would help me reduce one power cord.
Lexicon Lambda looks pretty good. But I also saw lots praise for line6 toneport UX1, which come with lots effect, good recording software and virtually latancy-free(?)
My PC is a Microsoft-based AMD X2 PC with 4G ram. If that helps. And both my fretted and fretless basses are 5-strings.
