When the time changes in Spring I always take a day off and go up to the farm where the men in my family taught me how to be a good man. There's a huge oak tree that was my grandfather's favorite spot. Winter is over. The hustle and bustle of the holidays is followed by the busiest time of year at work for both me and my wife. That too has ended. I need to be alone with my thoughts and let the sun hit my face. I sit in a chair and reacquaint myself with me. I'm usually in that chair or walking through the woods for 6 or 8 hours. These words from Jimmy Buffett always cross my mind.
