lifespan bas cabinet

hello,

I can buy a used Eden 410XLT for a reasonable price (including flightcase).
My question: this cabinet is at least 6 years old. What is the average lifespan of the speakers?? Is this a good deal (it's half the price compared to a new one)

I just picked up a pair of 1976 SVT 810 cabs with the original square magnets and they both sound great. The person I bought them from basically just stored them due to their size.

I bought a 410 that needed a complete recone. It must have been run very hard or often, all of the speakers were creased about 1" from the outside edge. When a note was played, the cone would bend at the crease and protrude outward. Be sure to try the cab at the volume you will be using it, and examine the speakers closely.
