Lightwave finally got their new website up and running.

    New Lightwave Site

Some areas still need work, but the new Sabers look pretty nice.

I'll be getting the production Roland interface mod on my Lightwave Zon after NAMM...review then.

Yeah, like getting someone who died a few years ago off the artists page!

from what i've heard, Lightwave and Ross had a relationship before she passed.

All well and good, but now, IMO, it's kind of in bad taste. They could do an "in memory of" to show respect. But if you don't acknowldege that one of your artists died almost 3 years ago, you're showing bad taste

after a quick inquiry, her husband John wanted Lightwave to leave her listed.

this is a vestige of the old Lightwave site.

i'm assuming they didn't consider a change in site design a call for removal.

after pointing out the "bad taste" concern, LWS will follow up.

Good Man, Fred. I don't think it should necessarily be removed, but just given the special attention that Rana deserved.

For a while, it looked as if Lightwave Music, the manufacturer of the Classica and Saber series, was out of business. But apparently, the investors decided to have the pickups and the instruments built under one roof. For an explanation, see http://www.lightwave-music.com/forums/showthread.php?p=146#post146

The new Sabers don't seem to be much different than the old Saber As. Any reviews from NAMM would be much appreciated.
