Double Bass Lightweight bigger cab for use with Clarus & Upshot?

I've used an older GenzBenz Neo 112 (designed by @agedhorse, light as a feather and loud as bombs), but I prefer a second upshot 1x10, which does wonders: I place one near me (for intonation) and one closer to the drummer/ensemble.

A second Upshot is something I am into, I just sometimes need something directional.
90% of the time, the upshot is just incredible - especially with a new Clarus head. I flew with mine recently - it fits under the seat in front of me!

I don’t know if anyone mentioned it already but the Aguilar super light SL112 cabinets are quite nice and just as the name says they are extremely light. I have one. They use a neodymium magnet. because the speaker is so light they can make the cabinet out of lighter plywood. or something like that.

I'm gonna throw in a +1 for the Eden 112EX, they sound really good for upright. Also a for an MAS16. They sound great and are way louder than they have any right to be. Especially since you're in Chicago, I bet if you look around you can find a used one for under $400. the nice thing about those is also that Mike really stands behind his product. When I bought my second 16, he upgraded my original one to a newer design at no extra cost.

You also might look at some of the new small, lightweight PA speakers that are out, on occasion I've been really impressed at how some of them sound with minimal eq'ing
