I really like Wiedoft rosin. I do wish it was round, though.

I’m really into this Colonel Marsee’s Bourbon Barrel Rosin right now. The regular one is nice and grippy without being sticky (and not powdery); and the new dark variety is great for solo stuff. This rosin has all the good points of Jade and Pop’s without all the bad stuff (gunky, powdery, etc.). I love it.

I still like Pop's, but I don't make a living with the bow. If I did, I'd probably be very hungry by now.

Wiedoft sounded grainy to me when I tried it. My teacher also didn’t like it. I’m not currently loving any rosin but I think my bow hair is the problem. I wanted to be skeptical but under the current circumstances, the Upton two stage rosin helped. Normally I am just a Pop’s guy.
