line 6 help

hi guys. im pretty much a beginner when it comes to effects. ive yried a forum search but it sucks on my phone and I am none the wiser. which is better from a bass point of view. the line 6 pod x3 or the bass pod xt live? hoping u can point me in the right direction.

If it's for effects just get one of the HD series they have all of the effects from the M series and it sounds better than the old pods.
