A pedal is $90. Seeing as I dont have a job. Thats like throwing my money in the crapper. =P
That doesn't even make sense.
The Line 6 LowDown 110 is $249 and you seem ready to plunk down your money on it.
By comparison, if a pedal is, in fact, $90, that leaves $159 to spend on an amp (plenty of $149 and under amps out there; especially if you include used options) before you've even spent the same amount.
(In addition to the fact that not every pedal is $90. You can get a decent pedal with models and effects similar to the Line 6 for $30-$80.)
You also mentioned that you wanted an amp so you wouldn't have to transport one back and forth. A pedal is easily transportable so, ideally, you'd be able to use the pedal at two locations.
It sounds to me, however, that you had your mind made up before you even asked the question. If you want the Line 6 because it looks cool, or you like it for whatever reason, or it just what you've decided on, then by all means get it. You are the one who is going to be playing it and using it.
As a general rule, however, if you are going to ask a question on a forum, it may pay to actually listen to other options.
