I purchased a studio 110 to keep around the house for various things. First thing is I like the sounds. They're adequate for practice and the synth is fun.
BUT!
It has a very big problem with a hiss that comes out of every output including the speaker. The noise is there even when all the knobs are turned down all the way. It is even more annoying when wearing headphones.
I called Line 6 and they said that I could ship it for free repairs, but I would have to pay shipping to and fro the repair center. NO WAY! That would bring the total cost of the thing to over $300!
I returned it. It seems like it was a good idea, but implementation and QA were obviously lacking. Even more because this is supposed to be a recording amp and the noise is there on the XLR output as well.
