I played upright in college for a bit in the 80's just for the experience and I have not touched a fretless since
Last year I bought a parts bass fretless P, The neck is 70's Fender the body who knows ? I started using it on Bad Co. stuff and this song. Note the look of concentration, 4,000 people in the crowd. I am pretty happy with my performance. Will I forsake my fretted basses? naw but it is nice to have the fretless in the tool box !
