Live Tweaking Of Pedals...

It's not impractical unless I'm bending down to adjust pedals, which I'd never really considered doing until being reminded of the possibility by BigO in another thread.
That and my guitarist looks like an absolute tool with his instrument gracing his equally tall 6'4 frame at nipple height.

Okay, I just looked up a relative instrument height shot of the band. I'm the one with three strings in the below shot from last year at the Knitting Factory.
I think some of the burden may lie in the fact that my bass hangs mid-sack in height, thus creating an excess of strap length when my frame is bent in two.
This one chick named Mel seems to be really into our stuff.

I can't help but fiddle with pedals. If something doesn't sound right in the mix I'll adjust it on the fly, often using my foot to turn the knob.
And I adjust from song to song. And certain pedals have to be tap tempo for me so I can adjust them on the fly - delay and tremolo being two. As much as I dig the EBS TremoLo, I'm kicking it aside for a new tap tempo trem because it drives me nuts to not have it be tap tempo after having a trem for so long that was. About the only pedal on my board that I don't tweak (well, except for my Pitchblack) is the Moog LPF - unless using an expression pedal counts as tweaking. All the knobs on it stay in the same place.
Even my blender gets adjusted during gigs. As I said in the Post Your Pedalboard thread, one problem for me and the Chunk OS is that I'm such a natureal knob twiddler that it frustrates me to not be able to change things easily on the fly.

I adjust my blender (between songs only) more than any other pedal. I've often wondered if there is a blender out there that allows multiple settings (2 would do the trick, plus bypass) controlled by a footswitch.
I twiddle knobs, a lot. On the bass, pickups volumes and EQ change a lot. On the pedals, I mess around with most of them, especially the VT Bass. Recently got an LS-2 to use as a blender/safety measure, and I can envision fiddling around with that (the blend) quite a bit, too.
Unless there's some kind of expression control or tap tempo, I am not into on-the-fly effect tweaking. Between songs may be unavoidable in some cases (for instance, a filter setting) but in general I like to be able to stomp effects on and off
It depends on how I feel. I usually adjust some knobs till I get a tone I really dig at that moment, and then rock my balls off.
I had to ask the question.... and now I must have one.
I'm intending to order a VB Jr first because it will fit on my PT Jr but that dual blend with bypass will work a treat on my next major board project.
