I clicked on this and of course immediately I wanted to shut it off but then for some reason, my mouse wouldn't work. I could hover over things but the left button wouldn't function. So I couldn't turn it off
Do we need a better argument why not to do drugs. My wife was in the kitchen and came out with this what the hell are you listening too.

Of course we all blew when we started to play. I just never put any on the internet... or well it wasn't quite around then either.. I just want to help the kid.
Geez, tough crowd for the kids! Although I question the wisdom of putting some of the stuff I've seen up on TB, hey, we all sucked at one point in our lives. Still, if you're going to put yourself out there, I guess you need to learn how to read bad reviews of yourself and not kill yourself.
No kidding! Seriously, if that is not a joke, he needs to find a new hobby, I'm sorry. I know he's just a beginner and all, but after a few videos don't you think he could tune? If he can't tell he's out- again, find another hobby.

Honestly, those who have sympathy for this kid... really? I mean, we all were pretty bad when we started out (I will say, I knew when I was in tune/in time)... but WHY WHY WHY post vids of yourself playing terribly on YouTube? Do you think it's going to get you laid or something?

im sorry, but ive been playing for 1 year, and this videos are absolutely nothing close to me at any point within this year... (not saying im god of bass, im just saying some of these videos scare me)
for instance the final countdown one, has NOTHING to do with being noobs, that is just a group of tone deaf people who have talent at sucking....
maybe it's because I don't listen to this genre of music, but besides his tone I coudldn't really tell his timing or licks were off.

I really don't know what drives people to display their talents or lack thereof on youtube. Was it karaoke that eliminated the last human vestiges of wanting to avoid embarrassment?

you've got to admire his determination but...why would you upload it to youtube. his galloping lines to make me laugh, not because they're really bad (they are) but just the sound sets off my funny bone.
This is what I was thinking when I first saw this thread. It is the yardstick by which all instances of YouTube musical incompetence are measured.
