Here's where we were setting up the day before the concert. It was tonight - we had a great time. There were two other bands. I did sound for all three. I did ours on a small board on stage, then did the others from the larger board offstage. The transition between bands took only about 10 minutes.

Here's the first stage set for my acoustic trio.

Here's the second for the punk band. The guitarist and bassist are doing level checks. The stage mixer is gone and they're going via snake to the mixer in the lower left corner. They're very good.

And here's the third group, a kind of emo originals acoustic group - they're excellent.

The whole thing was a blast. It was a 30th birthday party for a guy who is going to Tonga with our lead singer's daughter in the Peace Corps.

The back of my Impreza contains 1) 4x12" Marshall cab, 1) Full size Marshall head, 1) TC RH450 and 2x10" cab, 2) Les Paul's in hard cases, 2) basses in hard cases, 1 Pedal Train 2 in bag bursting with cables and accessories, 1 bag the size of a Boss GT-10 bursting with cables and accessories, 3 guitar stands, a small box of Merch and a box fan.

Are the car's speakers that sit behind the passenger seats mounted and exposed in the trunk? I have an ES330 with speakers mounted like this. I just got back from vacation... we packed the (also rather large) trunk so full, I was afraid the speakers would get damaged! Seems like a bit of a design flaw.

I'm always afraid of banging up the speakers when anything big goes in the trunk.

No. This one's a GS. In that load, I had two JBL PRX612Ms and a bunch of big bags, including the snake bag, my gig bag, and a suitcase with all the cables in it. And, of course, the 8-foot-long rolled carpet (that's the funny part of the video).
