loaded pbass pickguards?

looking at buying a MIJ 62 pbass body and was wondering if loaded pickguards for these exist? searching google i couldn't find anything at all. this is my first attempt at putting a guitar together from parts, so i'm trying to make it a little easier on myself. any advice is appreciated!

Unlike guitars, bass pickguards dont come loaded. Pickups mount directly on the body. You might be able to find cheap control plates with pots already on, but youre better off putting one together yourself.

thanks for the reply. makes sense of course. i have some minimal soldering experience.. is this all i need to put on the guard? Link Removed (looking at the standard p bass kit)

then just solder pups on? i appreciate the help. obviously i'm a complete novice with this. did some searches, but am not finding much beginner talk. any links are welcome.

AFAIK, a pre-wired P bass pickguard does not exist.

With that wiring kit, you still have to solder everything together, it just included all the parts.
