Loading times VERY long.

TB has been loading very slowly at times. Sometimes, it loads the top links, logo, and banner. And it will just sit...

Then sometimes, it will just sit and "load" on an empty screen. It's been kind of frustrating. It took me 5 minutes to get here to post this thread.

All the time man. But look at how many members and posts TB has!

I THINK i found a solution to this problem...
When the page is loading, go open another fullscreen page.
Peek a bit, if it still has that long address thingy at the bottom, resume looking at the other page.

A great tool for finding out exactly where the problem is, is a 'traceroute'.

In your windows command prompt, type:

tracert www.talkbass.com

and paste the output here.

It's better, now. I think it may have been my ISP's network connection to the outside world. Just that particular pipeline was slow (and a few others). Everything is normal now.

Good deal. Well, if it happens again, a tracert report is a great tool, to see if it's an ISP, router, or something at our datacenter, or the TB webserver
