So upon asking the seller if the neck is straight and if the truss rod still works, he replies "To the best of my knowledge, it may be just slightly off the neck straightness. Otherwise, it never came with a trust rod when I got it dem the music place."

Seller- I never got a truss rod when I got it, so I don't know
Me- It's inside the neck lol, there's nothing inside that little hole in the headstock?

Me- See that hole under the A string? That's where the truss rod is, you stick an allen wrench in there and turn it to make neck adjustments
Seller- Ahh, I understand, I'm not too familiar with truss rods and what not on a bass so yeah lmao.
If that neck is warped to hell, a 1.5 hr drive one way is a pretty big waste of time, even if it is only $100...And I don't really feel like trying to coerce a wrecked neck back into being straight. Think I'd rather spend a little more dough on something closer in that case, seeing as how this guy has no idea what's being talked about
