I know it sounds silly, but the stock overdive from logic pro is actually my favourite overdrive. It works fantastic for bass in my opinion. The range is perfect for a subtile but hearable saturation that just puts a nice harmonic "thickness" to my sound, and glues all together in a mix. Not trying to be a guitar amp, but definitely not too subtile eighther.
