don't know about anyone else, but i'm stoked for the Olympics

only sports i watch actually..its a family event, we watch everything and then some

I should see if the team USA lineup is set yet. The clips from Behjing were great. That one is ours to lose; wonder what the odds will be.

I didn't realize the cousins of Kang and Kodos became the mascots of the Olympics.

I wish i could leave London while they happen, the city is going to be so packed it is going to be an absolute nightmare! Unfortunately i have quite a few gigs booked for that period so i am stuck here!

I am really not looking forward to being packed in the underground even more than usual!

I enjoy watching racing. Bikes, boats, runners, swimmers. Such a simple, and pure sport. Start line, finish line, get there before everyone else. No judges. I probably won't watch anything that isn't racing.

I love getting the chance to actually see track and field or one month every four years!

...but then, I ran track as a youth, now I'm running it as a masters athlete, and my 9 year old son has been running club track for a couple years.

My Aunt and Uncle, who live on the outskirts, are going to Paris for the duration of the Olympics.

I don't blame them. I think the Olympics is a totally over-hyped waste of time, effort and resources and it's the very last thing we need round our necks here in England this summer. I'd like to see the whole burdensome thing scrapped, for reasons I can't really discuss in OT.

Everyone I know here is far more interested in the Euro championships this summer than the godforsaken Olympics. Quite right, too, imo.

Taekwondo is the only good thing about the Olympics, and it's not even televised. You have to go to the internet for it. Actually, the internet streams have six times more events than what you see on TV.

I have to say I'm more interested in the Euros too. I really find it hard to root for England with Terry on the team though.

I love the olympics!

I'm stoked...especially for track & field, bball & gymnastics. Aside from gettting to see cultures from all over the world converging on one stage, I get to see world-class athletes do things that I don't really see every day.

in 08, my wife kept looking at me crazy because I kept jumping up and down and shouting at the TV during the men's gymnastics finals

Actually, its apparently a stipulation of the Olympic committee, apparently they've had similar setups for the past few.

I'm kinda looking forward to it, but I think the insane monetary bill associated with it spoils it. Looking forward to the weightlifting!
