I have a Squire affinity P Bass. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a short scale neck for it. If it is possible could someone tell me where to get one?

you would have to change the bridge placement most likely...
unless it was like a 14 fret neck made specially for that specific bass...

+1 for the capo.
You can obviously move the nut permanently as well.
If there was a real demand for such necks, a parts manufacturer such as Warmoth would offer one. No harm in asking them though, but the cost is most likely prohibitive.

I've done that type of conversion using Mustang and Bronco necks. The necks were too narrow for the neck pockets so I shimmed them on the sides, but there was enough adjustment in the saddle intonation that I didn't have to relocate the bridge plate.
Having said that, I'd go with the capo.

If you really want a short scale why not sell your Affinity and get a purpose built short scale. There's a lot of love on forums for the Squier Jaguar, for example.
