Hi there! I was a drummer since I was a kid, played guitar semi-casually, picked up the bass a year or so ago, and have been positively digging it. ^o^ I used to be into metal and punk for a long time, then I got into hypercomplex hardcore-techno (which resulted in the release of this among other things), then I mellowed out and got into weird Vangelis space-ambient and sound collage stuff (which resulted in the release of [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] among other things), and now I've rounded out a fair bit, having come all the way back to wanting to dig some metal again. What a journey it's been! 
I can rock this forward and backwards on the bass (albiet minus correct right-hand technique), and have a number of positively-adored punk anthems (like this) I enjoy jamming on the bass from time to time. ^__^ This is my recently-acquired bass, a Jaguar I got for $199, positively amazing how great beginner instruments are these days!
