So I've looked online and own a 5 already but I'd like another. I've been looking at an Ibanez SR405QM, Spector Ledgen Custom 5, Ltd D-5, Fender Deluxe Active Jazz V, Ibanez SR 35 Fretless 5, or any other 5's someone can suggest...I'm looking to play music of the August Burns Red, Between the Buried & Me, and The Devil Wears Prada genres...so people that have played these basses or own them or have other basses to suggest please comment

Ibanez makes a great bass for this genre, and a lot of people seem to like Spectors for this. Also, I've seen a lot of metalcore bands using stingrays nowadays.
<----- Plays Ibanez SR505 in a dirt metal band. Got it for 175.00 used off CL. My recommendation would definitely be for a soundgear.
If you want something different, definitely check out schecter basses. the stiletto, the omen, and the damien basses would make great choices for playing metal.
I played the SR405 and SR505 and like them a lot better then the Spector 5's, but there 4's are very nice!!
