Looking for a 2x12 cab for GK MB800

I've been saving up for a new cab to go with My GK MB800 and am expecting a tax return soon to help finish paying for it. I am currently debating between a GK Neo 212 and Markbass NY 122 but I'm open to other suggestions. I mainly play fingerstyle Rock/Classic Rock and am looking for a one cab solution for medium sized rooms. I already own a Schroeder 410 for large rooms and outdoor shows and I own a Markbass 121 combo and NY 112 for rehearsals and small to medium rooms but I'd like to add another cab to my arsenal for flexibility. I'm currently in two bands and neither of which are particularly loud. Of the cabs I've listed, the GK is 8 ohm and rated for 600 watts, the MB is 4 ohm and rated for 700-800 watts (I've seen it listed for both). There is about a $200 price difference between the two and my budget is around $500-$800. Thoughts?

GK all the way.

Markbass cabs are very polarizing, expensive, and they just move manufacturing to Indonesia. Not that there is anything wrong with MII, but teething problems are their worst when a factory is new. Also, the Markbass is 4Ω, so your expandability options are non-existant.

GK. All day, and twice on Sundays.
Just a thought... You already have a 410 cab and some 12" speakers, and you are still considering adding an additional cabinet. Have you perhaps considered a 1x15?

Hmm, I wasn't aware that MB was no longer made in Italy. That's a game changer for sure.

I did not consider that, dude. The last 15" cab I owned was an SWR Son of Bertha about 10-12 years ago and I don't recall why but I sold it because I didn't care for it. Obviously, things have changed in cabinet design and driver efficiency, etc. You definitely raise a good point.

That's what I was afraid of.

The only thing the size of a speaker tells you is the frequency at which it starts to beam. The 4x10 over a 1x15 stack is a horrible idea pretty much all of the time, and it's flaws are so well discussed here, it is borderline trolling to suggest them.
