Looking for a bass. Have weird requirements.

I'm surprised I haven't seen an SX post yet, but I'll throw my two cents in... Great basses for the money, and you could get two for half of what you want to spend.

I haven't tried them since the headstock change, but I've owned a number of them, and they're pretty awesome right out of the box.

i think the new classic vibe squier 51' precision bass is pretty amazing for the money. Neck is chunky, but feels nice. The single coil p pickup sounds nice also.

I agree except the one I saw had this ugly coating on the neck that felt like like gross. The vintage modified one is much better, so I bought it

Yes, the whole bass is coated very heavily. If you are not used that (I am) you might not like it. Amazingly it didn't seem to hurt the tone that much. Most of the time that would suck the tone out.

Look on the bright side at least that kind of neck will be weather resistant lol.

Good choice though.
