Looking for a half rack space power amp... Help!?

hey all, I'm trying to put together a rack I can carry on for flight in one of those 4u gator rack bags... After 2 spaces of processing, a half space wireless, and an RJM mini effect gizmo, I have just a half space available! (Needs to mount above or below the wireless, because I need the space behind the RJM to mount my pedals inside the rack..

POSSIBILITIES!

Demeter Minnie 800d
Pros:
Power switch on the front
800W!
2 speakon AND a ¼ speaker out
Neg:
Only ¼" input
Not really ½ rack... Just.. Close..
Expensive...... $1000???

SWR Amplite
Pros:
Made for ½ rack :thumbsup:
Rear fan
Combo input jack
More affordable :D $550 ish
Neg:
Less power 400w (not an issue for me, just powering my stage monitor!)
Switch on the rear... Annoying but not a real problem.
No ¼ speaker out
Drumroll..... ITS DISCONTINUED!!! :dead:

I just discovered this amp, then I roll over to musicians friend, credit card in hand, discontinued!
This SWR basically fits my needs exactly.
Simple half rack amp, with enough headroom to power a 210 or 115 cab
If it also had ¼ out, it would be ideal. But I can always adapt if necessary.

Can't find anywhere in stock though... I'm considering contacting SWR directly to see if they might have one in a warehouse collecting dust..
Can't even find one on EvilBay.

So. I plead to thee, wise TBers,
Help me find something to fit the bill!

I wish I could contribute more. What comes out of those discussions is this type of product is really underrepresented in the market, but companies probably have reasons not to offer many examples. Also, since for you "half-rack" is not just a generic indication of preferred dimensions but a literal, actual requirement, many of the micro heads appear to be out (but I'm out of the loop about most of those); well, the tiniest, low-powered ultra-micros (GK MB200, TC BH250, Ibby Promethean P300H, Traynor SB200H and I'm sure I'm forgetting others*) do qualify, but, apart from their aforementioned low power, none of them have proper FX return/power amp inputs, except, AFAIK, the not-easy-to-find GB Shuttle 3.0 and the practically-impossible-to-find Overtōn Flyweight 200 (the Traynor does have a 1/4 AUX input though).
The newish TC BH550 and -800 have the power (or do they? :ninja:) but not the inputs.
Anyone know if other medium/high powered micros are narrow enough?


*I've omitted the Carvin BX250 and Ampeg Portaflexes and Fender Rumbles, too wide.
I'll update if/when I've remembered others.

Markbass has a new head, The Nano, which is 7.87" long, 300 watts into 4 ohms, with an effects loop. The discontinued F1/F500 is also a great choice, ( if you can find one ), at 10.5" long, 500 watts at 4 ohms, with an effects loop.

Since both the Minnie and the Amplite exceed one rack unit in height (albeit by very little in the latter case) I thought you didn't have an iron limit there. Could you tell us how tall you need it to be?
As for our suggestions above, they're not that many, so, ya know... ;)

Verry narrow, somewhat deep, might be too tall. Also, specs are unclear as to power delivered (seems to be 250@4ohms). Not terribly expensive at a glance around the web. I've got no idea as to suitability for MI use.
