Looking for comparable Jazz pickups (Lakland 44 Classic Dual J)

I recently tried a USA Lakland 44 bass at Guitar Center. The whole experience made me want one, but I lack cash…

I’m also in the process of finding the right pickups for my fender jazz bass and I thought the ones on the Lakland sounded great.

I know they’re proprietary pickups but I was wondering if there’s anything comparable out there.

Is it just me or are those pole pieces just a little larger than normal? They kinda look like their diameter is bigger than standard, but not as massive as Quarter Pounders. If so, I am intrigued.
