I liked the bass. The singer seems good but she got off key a few times. I didn't like the guitar solo or the drummer's hat. But compared to most bands, this band has potential. Keep up the good work.

I just listened to the other song you have on youtube that's more of a studio recorded product.
IMHO the singer is never going to get where she needs to be. Her pitch is ALL over the place. If that's her pitch in a quality recording I would not expect live to be better.

I would have to agree with stflbn. She seems off pitch in many places. Not terrible, but she probably needs some voice lessons. I would agree that she probably needs a different look as well.
Guitarist should lose the hat.

Lose the merch on the stage.
The song is pretty good. I like the music and everyone plays very well. Looks wise, you're the best put together of the group. I didn't see any real issues with your personal performance.

hi, i watched the video first with no sound. like someone else said, the drummers hat looks a little out of place, kind of like a carnival clown, its cool to be wierd but it doesnt look cool on him. kinda reminds me of one of bootsy collins hats. it worked on him. speaking of hats, its probably just me but i dont think you should wear a baseball hat onstage. (except for rick neilson/cheap trick) even if your bald. he looks like someone that just jumped out of the audience and started playing. the singer and bassist have a good look, not outlandish, but nicely and crisply stylish. the guitarists t shirt and jeans are ok, but he needs something to set him apart. maybe jewelery/ a few bracelets/necklace/fat watch , snappy boots/ footwear. the singer is sexy, i would try to talk to her. that never hurts getting male fans lol. now i will listen to it. johnny a.
the musics good, for some reason the voice is waaay louder then the guitar, not sure if it is the location of the camera, but the singers pitch isnt the best and the guitar should lead the mix. good musicianship. nice job. johnny a. staind
What's not fair about saying her pitch is all over the place? I checked out their other video, and there is no debate. She was ABSOLUTELY all over pitch-wise. The only thing you were correct about was that there was nothing constructive about the comment
Okay, how about the musicians actually looking up and at the crowd. No hats. Not sure about the skinny silver tie, unless you're doing '80's tunes. If you're playing more rock type stuff, dress the part. Especially the singer.
Get the Big Gulp and the beer bootles off the Marshall head. It not only looks bad, it's dangerous to the gear. Don't throw the merch on the monitors or the drum riser. Get the lead singer a black mic cord.
Overall, you guys just need to exude more self confidence. Keep working at it and it will come together.

Yeah, it was hard to tell what the introductory notes were supposed to be. They were off. I would say she'll get better but, since she's been with this group for six years, I'd say what you see is what you get. She has enough talent that, when combined with her looks, she's an asset to the band, and certainly a draw.
I agree here^ her voice is not going to change if she has been doing this for 6 years, 6 months..ok. She needs to find a key that fits her voice or songs that just work for her. I know allot of singers who are great in their range but take them out of it and...Wooo..boy bad stuff!
She has a decent to good voice and the looks for sure to sell this band ..no problem there.

Performance-wise, you got to sell the song a little better. I think backup-vocals on the chorus to make it stand out more.
Any time the singer mentions the word 'you' in a song, that is a direct connection with the listener. Milk it, sell it, yad yada yada.
The guitar solo, was boring. It did sound out of tune a bit, and then it went into a cliched lick around the 12th fret. I dig how you guys come out of the solo though, so I don't think you should ditch it. If the guitarist is purposely going for the out of key feel, I think he needs to do it with more conviction. As for the second part of the solo, have him change it. My advice is give him an opened tuned guitar to write the solo on so he can't rely on patterns that he has been playing for the last six years. Once he pens the new solo he can learn it on his other axe.

I am going to agree totally with you. I just listened to the other song, "attain" and she really is WAY off pitch. She has a good look, of course, and strangely, though she might have a good tone to her voice.... she is in dire need of singing lessons. Nothing to feel bad about. I take lessons, and I think everyone should take lessons.
So pitch doesnt matter? There is no difference between being off a little and being off a lot? Everyone who isnt perfect is the samer as everyone else? That is freakin rediculous. The fact is she was more off pitch than most of the singers I am familiar with. And, FYI i was actually refering to the studio recording when I said she was pitchy. And since you asked, here is a live video with a girl I used to sing with. It isnt perfect, but the pitch is much better than the video in question

I guess I shouldn't comment on singing cause I can't tell that the woman in the vid clip you attached is any better position vioce wise than the OPs female singer.
I think it personal taste, and why I made that initial comment. I think you might think the OP singer has certain issues, but it's just your opinion, which I don't share.
