Looking for opinions...no really

I have been playing for nearly 30 years and several years ago I had a custom leather strap made for me by a local guy and loved it. But it has since disappeared. I am currently using some OK Levy straps on my basses (Fender Jazz and Fender P) but would like to get something better that will hold the bass in place and not let the headstock dive on me. So I am looking for Opinions, recommendations, links, etc. Thanks.

Moody and Italia are the two that come to mind for me. I have a few Italia straps and they are a great bang for your buck as they often have 2 for 1 sales.

I use Richter straps. German made, good leather quality, although not very cheap.

There are other neck dive solutions available , strap knob repositioning as a for instance.

Comfort straps make a nice thick neoprene strap.

They're illegal in the vatican so they must be good.
