Looking for passive single coils to replace MEC humbuckers

I currently have MEC passive humbuckers on my fretless Warwick Rockbass Streamer and I want to change them with single coils as I love the Jazz Bass and the WW Corvette but I don't want to buy a new bass.
I've been looking at the Nordstrand Big Single 5's and I think the EMG 40 cover is a tad smaller than my current MECs, but I don't want to risk buying expensive pickups and then have them not fit... and I would prefer passive pickups.

Does any of you have fat singles on your Warwick?

It's a Rockbass, hit the inventory reduction sale EMG is having on Reverb.
Maybe drop a pair of their Tbird pickups in it bc that's closest fit.

Don't be afraid to do some routing.

Nope, it's a standard Streamer fretless.

Ask EMG for a free soldered pickup bus board.
Look for a nice used preamp, you could wire direct to jack in a pinch.
Volume and blend should be 25k, 100k will work.
Pots are cheap.
These are Js in a package really close to what you have.
