Looking for short scale strings

I like the sound of eirny ball strings once they die but they are to long for my mikro bass. What out there sounds like dead or will die out to sound like eb strings but in short scale

There are definately differences, but your options are limited in shortscale. DR sunbeams go dead in a really pleasant way. Those might be worth trying.

If you like dead rounds, you should try steels. They die nicely as well.
