Looking for source for blend, tone, and volume pots

Hello all!

I'm planning to rewire my Jazz bass to VBT using the no load blend diagram (thank you Walter W!), but am having a hard time sourcing the components. I'm looking for a 250K linear solid shaft volume pot, a 250K audio solid shaft tone pot, and a 250K M/N blend pot solid shaft. I can find the audio taper 250K pots fairly readily, but am having a hard time with the other two.

Any suggestions as to where I can source them would be greatly appreciated!

You can either buy brass tubing & cut it, or buy these:

Split Shaft to Solid Shaft Adapter Bushings

BTW, if you're using 250k Ohm volume & treble-cut pots (Ohms is the unit of measure), then you're basically undoing the purpose of having an ungrounded blend pot.

Another note, an ungrounded blend cannot completely silence one pickup.

are you sure, what if it is a no-load blend?

I don't follow the comment about the 250K volume and tone pots undoing the no load ungrounded blend wiring. If I understand correctly, the no load wiring takes both the blend pots out of the circuit so that it effectively only sees 2 pots. If anything, this should yield a slightly brighter tone compared to the stock circuit with three 250K pots. Did I miss something here?

I do know that you won't get one pick-up entirely soloed with this set up, but from what I've read you can't hear it when playing. Also, I generally don't solo one pick up anyway.

Still looking for a source for the components. Any suggestions?

You don’t mention the size of the threaded part but, as long as my selections stayed in there, all three pots are there as 250K ohm and solid shaft. The threaded part may be different sizes, however.
