Looking for the right effects

Hey guys
Listen Ive always found it to be a real pain when buying effects for the bass.
I use Boss pedales but even they dont give the punch Im looking for.
I like their Chorus and just got their 7ban EQ for bass. I also brought their AW-3 Dynamic Wah but was pretty dissapointed with it.
I also would like a good digital delay with a strong reverse effect I think that would be a real smart thing to use with fretless bass.
Can any one point me in a direction that will help me get the sound I want?

For the delay maybe try the Line 6 Echo Park, the reverse and swell work well.

For an auto-wah, the MXR Bass Auto Q is pretty good. Or you might want to try some of the funkier-sounding envelope filters like the EHX Q-Tron, DOD FX-25, Agent 00Funk, etc.

For delay, I really dig the Boss DD-6. Has several delay options, include a very nice reverse.

If you want a filter that will keep the punch, I'd recommend the Emma DiscumBOBulator.
