Looking for value cab/head combo

I'm a college student on a college student budget, and I'm looking for a great value head and amplifier to buy. I'm looking to do just some bar gigging and other smaller venues, so I will need some power. As for price range... maybe 700-800 total?

I was looking at the Behringer BB410 as a cheap cab, but it seemed to have a few bad reviews. Thanks for your help.

You will get much more for your money if you buy used and the TB classifieds are a great place to start looking.

I would recommend picking up a used Mark Bass Littlemark II and a nice cab of your choosing. As for cabs, there are many that pair well with that particular head: Avatar, Aguilar, Bag End, Bergantino, etc., etc. It all depends upon your needs and your budget.
